Norman Cherrington (birth registered October→December 1935 in Wigan district[1] — died 2 December 2010(2010-12-02)[2]) was an English former professional rugby league footballer of the 1950s and '60s who at representative level played for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Wigan, playing at Wing, or Second-row, i.e. number 2 or 5, or 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums.

International honours

Norman Cherrington won a cap for England while at Wigan in 1956 against France, and won a cap for Great Britain while at Wigan in 1960 against France.[3]
